Welcome

Fort Perch Rock is a coastal defence battery built between 1825 and 1829 to protect the Port of Liverpool. The Fort is now home to a number of permanent maritime and aviation based museum displays, frequent guest exhibitions and cultural events.

Guided Tours

Take a 2-hour guided tour and learn all about the history of the fort, including its secrets hidden within the 15 ft. thick sandstone walls.

Escape The Fort

Fort Perch Rock is also home to World War Two themed Escape Rooms, open 7 days a week.

Advance booking is essential.

 
 

The Mess

 

The Mess cafe is open 7 days a week from 10am until 4pm weekdays, 10am until 11.30pm Saturdays and 10am until 5pm Sundays.

Relax and unwind in the Officers' mess of this stunning 200-year old fort. Take a seat next to the log fire and indulge in the finest tea and coffee, daily fresh cakes and a selection of paninis and authentic Italian pizza.
